At the regular Monday quiz held in THe Devonshire Arms, Kensington last night, three teams played for a bottle of wine.
One team comprised a lovely Australian couple, over here for a short break, but there were also a couple of Americans in one of the other teams and joining in the fun, a family who arrived in the later stages of the quiz, from Vancouver Canada.
As the Australian team of just two people was outnumbered, quizmaster Richard Linton, turned a blind eye to the fact that the Canadian family, suggested a couple of answers to the smallest team but in the end it was "Mac's Noodles" a five person team who took the honours and won with a comfortable margin of 5 points ahead of the team in second place.
