Five Teams Battle It Out!

Once again it was an internationally flavoured quiz at The Devonshire Arms last night. Five teams did battle for a £50 bar voucher plus two free drinks, one in each half of the quiz. At the half-way point "Pascal Sauvage & The Boys" was the leading team but during the second half of the quiz, "The Americans", four students who are studying here for a time, pulled themselves into the lead and finished as top team, with a score of 39 points. At the beginning of the quiz, the members of "The Americans" were a little anxious and sought reassurance that the questions were not too biased towards the UK - I think the win proves that every team whether English or not, is in with a chance!
