The Crown Tavern hosted a lovely and highly competitive group of teams last night at their Sunday quiz, testing knowledge on all things profoundly trivial. The creative round 'Invent a Patron Saint for something that doesn't have one' was won by 2 by the till for their Saint of the Lost Sock, and they also took home the bottle of wine after a close tiebreaker. New team Soaked in Beer - named after an unfortunate incident early on in the quiz - were the winners after a very strong second half, winning with an outstanding 7 point lead.
