It's Palindrome Day at the Crown!

The Crown hosted three teams last night for their Sunday quiz, with the usual tricky trivia questions and a rather unusual creative round. For Palindrome Day - 02/02/2020 - our teams were challenged to come up with their own verbal palindrome, which was won by Mr Canape for their entry 'Pit did kayak - kayak did tip'. The overall scores were close and Mr Canape ended up going head to head with last week's winners, the Wentworth Wizards, in a tiebreaker for first place. It was Mr Canape who took first place after a close apple-crushing-record guess!
