There's No Shame in Second Place

A hearty, festive atmosphere at the Crown and Greyhound Pub Quiz tonight, during this strange few days of limbo between Christmas and the New Year. Team "No Shame" looked sure to win at half time, almost 10 points ahead of the competition, but team "Bucks Jizz" had a sensational second round, and clocked up just enough points to seal the deal. However with the second place cash prize only just below the value of the £30 winning tab, I like to think they both left as winners this evening. Happy New Year one and all!
