We Will Quiz You

A wonderful turnout for the quiz at The Crabtree this week, perhaps because they heard tell of the new regular quizmaster attending, perhaps because they couldn't get tickets to see the football. Who knows for sure?
All in all, the ten teams playing were ruthless in their determination to win some booze.
We finished on a tie between latecomers "Jack's Staying (Don't Tell Sophie)" and the team "My Name Is James and I Love Quizzes!" which meant a battle to the death via Rock Paper Scissors.
It was a close match with Rowan and Sep (spelling not guaranteed) almost exactly evenly matched, each of them playing the same hand each time as opposed to one person taking the lead. Eventually, Sep caved and Rowan ran to victory, taking the bar tab for his friends, whilst Sep will have to settle for taking his friends to an amazing comedy night.
