The Raiders Return..

..this week saw the triumphant return to top spot for The Lancaster Raiders, with a most impressive score of 41! They also win the title of most enthusiastic team for being the only quizzers to consistently cheer for teams other than their own during score shouts!

Don’t think I haven’t noticed you all out there only cheering for yourselves - let us please remember that we love each other and care deeply about each other’s feelings! Thanks, nag over! ;)

Tonight was a busy one, with quizzers a plenty - so much so we even had standing teams.. I admire the dedication lads; what can I say, I’m flattered!

At the other end of the table, our camera shy wine winners were Rak Attack! with a well respectable score of 25.

Friendships were tested in the corner tonight with Joe Should be Here and Lethal Quizzle becoming two teams, lest they face the 2 point penalty for surplus players. Love was lost, rivalries forged, some things will never be the same again! I’d love to say I’m sorry, but we all know I worship this chaos! Joking aside, I do hope the love can be rekindled amongst you all!

Thanks to all our teams for playing - I hope to see some of the new faces from this evening back for more - who knows, maybe the Hinge date will work out and you’ll have Crabtree Quizzing to thank!

Finally, as ever, a parting reminder that win or lose, you are all the winners of my love and affection and that teams, as you all know by now, is priceless.
