"The Actress and the Bishop" steal the show

A wonderful nine teams turned up this evening for a jam-packed quiz at the Cherry Tree, where we studied the eyes of rhinos, learnt about military pigeons and remembered Saving Private Ryan. A tiebreak question was needed to separate the lucky winners of the conciliatory bottle of wine and that set the tone for all of our scores. It was incredibly tight at the top but the "Actress and the Bishop" claimed top spot, fending off charges from "Bruce Quizteam" and "Asleep in the Car". The jackpot of £211, however, wasn't won this week which means it rolls over to next week. Hope to see you there!
