"Dogs off Leads" Lead the Way

A small number of big teams packed out the back of The Cherry Tree this August Bank Holiday Sunday, producing a particularly raucous atmosphere in the process.

"Dogs off Leads" won the coveted £50 bar tab, before immediately spending their winnings on shots for the whole team. A wise decision if ever I’ve seen one. Usual suspects "Bruce Quizteam" took home the Maoam stripes - one of the tastier second prizes we’ve ever had at The Cherry Tree.

Free drinks were dished out to reward Aretha Franklin and Yugoslavia (not at the same time) based knowledge, but our hero Will lost out on the play your cards right rollover game.

Make sure you come down next Sunday to shake off those end-of-summer blues. The £55 jackpot isn’t bad for an evening’s work at the local!
