We had celebrations of both a birth and a birthday this week at The Cherry Tree. ‘Bubba Leo’ and ‘The ReVeal’ put to one side their respective parties to get involved with two hours of trivia-based fun.

‘Ollie Brenman’s Retirement Party’ impressively ran out winners with a score of 36, and would have been even further ahead if they hadn’t accepted a points deduction for fielding more than 6 players.

Elsewhere, Penguin biscuits and Michael Palin secured free drinks for two lucky punters, but the luck ran out for our man Johnny on the jackpot rollover, as he fell just one correct ‘play your cards right’ guess short of taking home £85.
