Our First Quiz of 2020 was an incredibly exciting affair that ended with two tiebreaks and a jackpot win! Our first stand-off occurred when 'The Fireballs' and 'Little Lebowski's Urban Achievers' were both just three away from correctly guessing the number of David Beckham's England caps in our jackpot question. A further poser on the athletic ability of snails was required to separate them, with 'The Fireballs' earning the right to select one of ten envelopes. Amazingly, they managed to correctly choose number 8 and collected £81 in cash! The quiz proper was also settled with a tiebreak question after 'Tiny Rebellion' and 'Team Moose' tied at the top of the table with 36 points apiece. On this occasion, it was a rare defeat for the titans of 'Tiny Rebellion' as 'Team Moose' came closest to naming the number of 'Carry On' films made, to claim the £50 bar tab.
