'Poddington Bear' cleaned up tonight at The Buck's Head in taking both bonus drinks and the anagram point. The extra point made all the difference to the final score as it just nudged them ahead of rivals 'OG Vaughnians' to top the table and take the top prize £30 bar tab.
'OG Vaughnians' weren't just going to settle for the house prize bottle of wine though. They held out a second more to win their chance at the jackpot. Exams may be over but still a choice had to be made, and envelope selected and a prize claimed. Was it the £57? Drum roll please... they won... a packet of crisps!
