Whilst there was only two teams involved, you might have thought it was going to be a dull one? Not so! 'The Akewsed' (the play on the name of the area) stormed into the lead in the first half, only to find themselves pegged back by 'Dee Dee' in the second half, and as a result, the first tie that I have been privileged to be a part of. 'The Akewsed' took the nearest to question and the £50 bar and food tab with it, but gracious in victory they allowed 'Dee Dee' the chance to win something by playing for four envelopes. He picked the one with two free bottles of Prosecco!
