With temperatures across London dipping slightly, and the old familiarity of a burst of British summer rain, there was a general dip in the normal standard of scoring at The Bohemia tonight and a familiar name at the top of the table.

It’s been a while since their last victory, but The Sockrobbers will always be a threat, and they displayed their mettle by taking the £50 bar tab top prize with 33 points: a solid score on an evening where most teams struggled with the questions put before them. Having said that, the "Robbers" were only a point ahead of "The Dogmatic Dons", and two ahead of "To Me, To You, Toodle-oo"! Barry Chuckle would’ve been proud.

Adding another bottle of wine’s worth of consolation prize to what must be building up to be a substantial cellar, Lovebirds yet again managed to scrape into second-last place with an abundantly improvable 17 points.
