Two Tiebreakers, Socks Robbed, Winners Triumph Under Pressure
Graeme W
Matching last week's field of 18 teams, The Bohemia was another epic affair, with a tense denouement, and in the end a new set of champions. After 40 questions, Not Good Under Pressure were the underdogs, tied as they were on 37 points with consistently successful regulars The Sockrobbers.
So it came down to a tiebreaker. Both teams have exactly the same answer!
Second tiebreak question, the width of the base of the Eiffel Tower in metres.
The Sockrobbers: 250m
Not Good Under Pressure: 125m
The answer? Well Not Good Under Pressure did not live up to their name, as the answer was 125m. Bang on!
For winning this tightly fought contest against such strong opposition, their £50 bar tab first prize was richly deserved.
