It was a quiz of two halves tonight at The Bohemia as teams across the board racked up a pile of points in the second half, but the leaders at the halfway point just clung on to the top spot in the end. The short-and-sweetly-named Chaps took home the £50 bar tab first prize with an excellent 39 points, managing to fend off incredible second-half surges from Katatonia and The Exploding Trousers who barely dropped a point in the latter 20, both a mere point behind in joint second on 38. Odd Idiots continued their steady run of form with a fourth place finish on 36. The lower reaches of the table also matter because we of course offer a prize for “logistically relative failure” at The Bohemia, and the much sought-after bottle of wine for coming second-last this week went to Kruparth for amassing a not-so-mighty 10 points.
