"Robbers" Win Battle Of The Regulars

Three-man trivia powerhouse "The Sockrobbers" won a tightly fought quiz battle with "Katatonia" last night at The Bohemia. With only a point separating them, "The Robbers" clinched the £50 golden bar ticket first prize with an excellent 38 points, with "Katatonia" back in second on a nearly-equally-excellent 37. In second last place, it was very much nominative determinism in action. A team calling themselves "Playing For The Wine" ended up achieving that name’s aim. In the end, their score of 28 was far from disastrous, and it still bagged them the consolatory bottle of red.
