It’s heartening to see first-time players at The Bohemia quiz become first-time winners that same night, and this Tuesday’s triviafest was one such event. Leading at the halfway point, Dan Spilled The Popcorn held on to top spot after the 40 questions were done by a semi-comfortable margin, taking home the £50 bar tab with a splendid debut score of 38 points. Runners up tonight were the ever lovely Oliver’s Revenge, who were only two points back on 36, and in the bronze position a further brace back were recent winners and evergreen regulars Katatonia on 34. The honour of second-from-bottom tonight went to Three’s A Crowd who posted a non-disastrous score of 26 points, and for that took home a nice bottle of red wine.
