What better way to prepare yourself for a festive season of drinking, arguing and board games than the last pub quiz at The Bohemia before Christmas. A total of 56 players had the same idea tonight, and at the end of the 40 question contest, sitting at the top of the table were two very familiar team names.

On a generally very high-scoring evening (11 out of 14 teams scored in the mid-thirties or better), it was "Katatonia" who found winning ways again, taking the £50 bar tab first prize with a superb 42 points.

Only a point behind them was "The Sockrobbers", who have won here many times before but were just a point behind the winners on this occasion with a total of 41.

At the other end of the table, it was Bordon who nabbed the much-coveted bottle of wine for coming second-last, but their 26 point total was still respectable.

Overall, an excellent end to a year of quizzing in N12, and here’s to more of that kind of thing in 2019.
