It was a very close-run thing at tonight’s quiz in a Bohemia decked with all manner of Halloween paraphernalia, but this evening’s winners weren’t spooked and edged it to victory by a margin of one solitary point.

Narrowly beating "Odd Idiots" 38 points, five-brain trivia powerhouse "I See You, Dominique" took the winners’ spoils (a £50 bar tab) with 39 points: having racked up 22 points at the halfway points, they were always going to be tough to beat. An excellent performance. At least one member of "Odd Idiots" was able to cushion the blow of just missing out, as he nabbed both free drink questions.

Further down the table, the much-coveted position of second-last was filled ably by "Comfortably Average", with a below-average 26 points, twelve points clear of last-placed "You’re A Quizzard, Harry" and so comfortably taking home the consolation prize of a bottle of wine!
