There could not be a more aptly named winning team at tonight’s quiz, considering yesterday’s seismic political events, and while the battle in North Finchley was obviously as keenly fought as the one in Westminster, the former was by far the tighter contest. After 40 questions, Coalition Of Chaos and Katatonia (two very familiar names in these parts) were deadlocked on 36 points. However only one team could take home the £50 bar tab top prize, so it came down to a numerical tiebreaker question, and Coalition Of Chaos claimed victory by the slimmest of majorities. Further down the table, the coveted mantle of almost losers was achieved by The Easy Es, whose second-last place finish on 22 points won them a consolatory bottle of wine.
