So Pancake Day came and went, and true to form the Pancake Eve quiz at The Bohemia was flipping marvellous and anything but flat, and what appropriately named winners we had tonight. For what goes well with pancakes? Nutella, sugar, jam, yes, but most importantly lemon juice. How apt, them, that tonight's quiz winners were called Lemon (a regular team who take their nominative inspiration from...well, whatever condiments are within reach). They were anything but crêpe, winning the £50 bar tab with 31 points (on a fairly low-scoring night, all told). Boh quiz stalwarts Katatonia were only a point behind on 30, and We Have No Idea, being joint leaders halfway through, had enough of a 2nd half slump to take the bottle of wine for 2nd last on 23 points. Hopefully a deliberate slump. Or hopefully not. Who knows. What a Mardi Gras...
