‘Team Inebriated’ Smash the Competition!

What an evening at Beer Hawk! Returning player, Christian, arrived with a super strong team in toe, and ‘Team Inebriated’ were confident they could get their hands on that £50 bar tab with some very competent quizzing. However, it was a super close at the top as we approached the second round, and ‘David’s Gathering of Awesome People’ were just one point behind top spot. ‘The Tuppenny Butter Quims’ played an impressively consistent game throughout and proved the quality of the quizzing was a high as the quality of their team name. But it was dark horses ‘Quiz Kamara’, who really shone bright in the second round - finishing round one at the bottom of the board, and then rising like a Phoenix to second place by the end of the night due to Tom’s knowledge of Pocahontas and Jackson 5 songs. The tiebreak round meant that Tom and Fiona won the ‘second-to-last’ place beers, and ‘Team Inhebriated’ did indeed prove themselves worthy victors and won the night by an impressive margin. I hope David from ‘’David’s Gathering of Awesome People’ has a lovely time in London and a safe trip back to Sydney. Big shout out to the bar staff Tom and Tahlia for being wonderful as always.
