Beers All Round in Beer Hawk!

It was my first night hosting at the wonderful Beer Hawk on the South Bank, and what an evening it was! After the first round, 'The Inbetweeners' looked like a surefire bet to beat the terrific twosome, 'Ruthless' with their exceptional knowledge on Herclue Poirot and the music of the Eurythmics. BUT, as the second round played out, 'Ruthless' began to catch up and snatch the lead after a few questions about Sex and the City and the plot of Captain America. In the end, it was a three-way tie between both teams AND the bar staff. However, after a tense tiebreak question, 'The Inbetweeners' clinched the game and were glorious. After such a majestic game, it was decided by the teams that the £50 bar tab prize was shared, and beer was had by all! Big shout out to Tom and Tahlia behind the bar for their efforts. And well done to Dan and Ruth on team 'Ruthless' and David, Sam, Ian and Neil who made up the re-imagined 'Inbetweeners'. Join us next Tuesday at 7pm for more fun and Beer at the Beer Hawk!
