It was neck and neck throughout the quiz tonight, as the two teams tussled for the top spot, only to find that it was to take three tiebreak questions to break them apart.

After a poor start, Quiz Akabusi rallied in the second half to overturn a four point deficit, probably due in part to their speed bonus points and creative limerick.

Teams also had to sculpt the Ashes Urn in a creative first half and even those were both close.

In the end, they split the difference on the tiebreaker, and went head to head on the two closest two questions. Luckily long bridges in China proved the differential and We're Back claimed the bottle of wine and the pub bragging rights.

We'll be back next week before the quiz takes a week off on the 30th.
