With their extensive range of home distilled gins, it was certainly a night to grab a cool, long drink at the Arnos Arms and settle down for Quiz Night! There was something in the air on this warm evening and some of the teams picked up on it, knowing that 'Magnetism' is the principle that allows a compass to work. Whilst they were all stars in my eyes, the non-alcoholic cocktail question clearly wasn't child's play, nobody guessing that ginger ale, a splash of grenadine and a maraschino cherry was called a Shirley Temple. All in all, however, everybody seemed 'Happy' with the lyrics question, realising that they were from the Pharrell Williams song of the same name. Much like the gin, there were a wide variety of scores on display with Last Men Standing grabbing the bottle of wine with 19 points, but it The Hunters who romped home with 33 points to claim the £50 bar tab! With everybody knowing something about something, the Arnos Arms hosts the complete Quiz- so make sure you brush up and specialise in a little bit of everything!
