A lot of things happened on the 9th of December throughout the centuries: Babies were conceived, BREXIT happened (time travel?), a member got fondled. But on the 9th December 2019 something else happened: "Emma still fancies the Quizmaster" (I still wonder if they are talking about me or Josh?) came 1st, while "Ws" didn't...neither did "NATO", but I heard one of them is a massive Gilmore Girls fan (you know who you are). We had some free drinks, very competitive teams ("Quizzly bears" vs "We Have Snow Chance" & "The Dirty Burgers" vs. "Belters Fae Glasgow"), a team named after me (should have gotten an extra point), a team that left early to watch some football and because it was my last cover at the Angel, we even had one of the "Los Tres Amigos" singing a goodbye song for me...obviously in Span..Irish!
