‘Alwynner Takes It All’ Take Three-Quarters!

The aptly named ‘Alwynner Takes it All’ were victorious this week, coming in first place just one point ahead of ‘Quiz in the Countryside’ (who would have won by a mile had there been more F.R.I.E.N.D.S-related questions). The Alwynners took home three quarters of the entry fees for a handsome sum of £60 cash as their prize. The consolation prize of a bottle of wine for the team placed second-to-last went to ‘Bla Bla Bla’—there’s no prize for last place in case anyone deliberately tanks, but at 8.5 points, 20 points behind second-to-last, I did feel this week that ‘Likks’ should’ve received something for sticking it out till the end.
