Great turnout for the inaugural 55 Yards quiz!

The first quiz night at 55 Yards proved to be a roaring success as the locals came out in force to compete. With the questions set and the crowd buzzing, Tom 'The Knowledge' got things underway with a tricky first half and a head-scratching finale.

There were prizes galore with three free drinks and the tactical geniuses that are 'Dad n Daughter' claimed a bottle of wine for coming second to last.

But it was at the top of the table where things got really interesting - 3 teams tied on 41 saw them into a tiebreaker with 'Rogers on Tour' narrowly beating 'Dexy's Midnight Runners' to the grand prize. With a £20 bar tab in the bag, they decided to twist to try and play for the big money... and won, taking home a £40 bar tab!
