They came back strong after the week off with the Melbourne Cup break; Quizlamic Extremists winning by 8 lengths. It was a photo finishish for second place with Who Are We crossing the line followed by Locals. Fourth place went to Bring on The Hot Sauce who bolted out the gates well but faded near the end.
