It was an occasion that warranted a standing ovation, but in respect for the lives, homes and habitats lost in the fires caused by LNP governments, everyone took a seat. It was also 35 degrees at sunset.
Nonetheless, the punters who'd been absent for weeks came back in droves and the newbies enjoyed the atmosphere of fun dug in for one heck of a good time. Regardless of score, everyone was equal in sharing the love of good food, good drinks, good chat, and good friends.
Unsurprisingly, Jarred Get me Pregnant were back in full force and took out 2nd prize after a tough tiebreaker - How far is Your Anus (sic) from the Sun? (A: 2.9 billion kms)
Sadly, The Mexican Drift put in an abysmal effort and its best not to speak of it.
Taking out top prize was a bunch of good time having blokes with a strong showing that took out the anagram as well as the half time prize AND the top top first place prize.
