Nordic by Nature back to winning form!

Well after a few quiet weeks of trivia last night was a very pleasant surprise! 6 teams competed with over 20 players and competition was ferocious!
We saw the return of a full force Nordic by Nature team and they were not mucking about, with David, Lisa, Pia and Zoe all focused they lead from round one and increased their lead in round two to dominate the competition! Congratulations to them!
Sadly Kirily and Mike had an off-night... Their suitably vulgar team name of "It's only Cannibalism if you Swallow" whilst moderately amusing was not enough to earn the required points and they came fourth overall...
It was the surprise return of last weeks DV8 team, a giant 8 person squad who managed to take second place with their new team name "The Moose Knuckles" and although they lost a point for an extra team member or two they still had a very good showing!
Once again local larrikin Rhys was in attendance with his girlfriend securing last and also second last place and earning a free bottle of wine for his troubles and I wouldn't have it any other way! :)
We threw paper planes for a bonus round and despite missing a prize at the end Kirily won two free drinks by knowing all about Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan and I believe a great night was enjoyed by all in attendance! Next week we will be hosting the trivia upstairs as it is air conditioned and much cooler than the downstairs bar, so until then, stay tunes, same bat time, same bat channel!
