Fire's are burning and the Frisco competition is also!!!

Despite the smoke in the sky there was 5 teams of determined trivia boffins competing last night at the Frisco! Perennial favourites Nordic by Nature were back and with 2 extra team members they were surely the early favourites, however The Three Amigo's were a solid team with a lot of heart and swagger and no one knew what to expect from them... However it was the 3.5 Musketeers who were the surprise victors having both beauty and brains and possibly also the ability to obtain a few extra answers from a rather easily manipulated trivia host...
Keen Klan had spent a little too much of the day partaking of libations and despite a truly spectacular aluminium foil champagne flute being created they were no match for the other teams and were in second to last place... However it was the magnificent mermaid sculpture by Nordic which won the half time bonus point! Congratulations to Zoe! :)
The Z Team, have capitalised on a flaw in my hosting and have begun a routine of taking last place and winning a free bottle of wine, which is a little against the spirit of competition which has forced my hand to award the prize from now on to the 2nd last team... at least forcing them to compete a little bit and not get only 1 point,,,
Despite the heat and fires there was a lot of fun had at the Frisco last night and that fun will only continue to grow, so come and join us! Until next week, same bat time, same bat channel!
