Half way through the longest, nastiest month of the year, we get the same numbers out as the Christmas special, the room is full of light and warmth, and a giggle is duly had. it was nip and tuck at half time with the whole field within 4 points, but the second half spread us out a bit, but I will just say this. I find it fascinating that in a pub where no-one is old enough to remember Formosa, Berry Gordy is a name that's recognised, people know stuff about the Brady Bunch, and recognise lyrics from Beach Boys songs BY THE VERSE STYLE. This really is a lovely pub to quiz in. And on top of that, playing for the jackpot , we get J,4,J,4, in succession. Adds a bit of spice to the evening......Until next week!
