Lots of new faces testing their mental mettle tonight and what a challenge it was! Suitably hard to jump start our brains from the Valentines weekend. Drawing inspiration from Valentine’s Day, our quizzers turned Wordsworth tonight, composing poetry for points in the creative round. The team of ‘Rod Kale’, prize winning poetry in hand, took first place and ‘Deia 2019’ happily picked up their bottle of wine for 2nd to last.
