At tonight’s quiz at the Fitzrovia Green Man on Riding House Street, The Ws had it. In what is quickly becoming the most exclusive pub quiz in London—what with its secret upstairs room and nearly every seat therein booked in advance—the quiz featured the cricketing twins Steve and Mark Waugh; the Boy Scout necktie fastener (the woggle); and a conundrum whose answer was “Welcome to the club“. W times 3, it would seem. In the end it was extremely, extremely close, with The Invincibles a mere half point behind tonight‘s winners, Where Is Russell? Meanwhile, a rare tie for last place meant Fake Gnus took the bottle of wine in a rather high scoring evenly matched quiz. Hope to see everyone again soon.
