A distinctive royal(-ish) theme to the evening's proceedings, with questions about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee; Queen the band (their logo and the run time of their most famous song); the Evil Queen from Snow White; and the theme song from The Royle Family sit-com. There was even one about Meghan Markle. Hm. Methinks this could be some sort of cosmic prod to my soft republican underbelly. Or not. Who knows how the universe works? I digress. It was absurdly close in the end, with barely 5 points separating the teams and two in a tie—down to the half-point. Congrats to Wooden Spoon on their winning of the pot and to Four Legged Walkers on snagging the bottle of wine. Hope to see all of you again soon!
