On a cold a blustery evening, four teams braved the elements to join tonight’s pub quiz battle at the Depot in Kidbrooke. Taking and early lead in our first half where the Hoes Under The Hammer. Our former raining champions had taken a two week sabbatical but were back on fighting form. Morgan vibes and Si gave them a run for their money with a half time second place position. After some lubrication from the bar our second round was soon underway. A difficult round with some questions that had all of our teams scratching their heads it was soon time for the results. First timers The Ark came in fourth place, nothing to be scoffed at as the only way is up! Third place and our bottle of wine winners this evening were our young couple The under 21’s.... it was a tense reveal however with a staggering 39 points, The Hoes Under The Hammer secures their favourite spot at the top of the leaderboard. All to play for next week, come down and join the fun!
