Tonight I was sent hither and thither down to The Station Hotel pub for the liveliest of quizzes. Such is the life of the itinerant quiz host—new routes forever await! In any case, the quiz was a slightly wordy one (questions about the words beginning with J and A, as well as words in German, Danish and Norwegian). Then they was the surprise of two questions craftily crafted to reference The Salvation Army. Fancy that. In the end Tiggy’s Troopers won the grand prize and a little team called Question Time took the wine. Up The Bum No Babies had a chance at the jackpot but sadly stumbled on the 5th card. The jackpot goes up again for next week!
