Not an unusual situation last night at The Spice of Life in the West End of London. Two teams fighting it out for third place and the last cash prize, whilst two other teams battled it out for a bottle of wine a consolation prize for coming second to last.
36 was the top score last night at the regular Tuesday quiz and the winning team which accumulated that score was a new team playing at The Spice for the first time. The wine winning team hadn't quizzed at the Spice before last night either.
Perhaps it was beginner's luck because some of the more regular winning teams were also playing last night, "Innocent Bystanders, N Y E " but although making third and fourth place neither team was victorious. A great night of quizzing and it happens every Tuesday form 7pm.
