Albeit a small, yet dare I say distinguished group this evening we had some fun. Bonnie (three months old) was as usual extremely well behaved despite the smoke alarm going off, just like her delightful parents. The destiny of the £50 bar voucher first prize was ultimately between "STP" and "Living the dream" as "The Trent Warriors" had to drive back to Nottingham after eating and the first half of the quiz. We trust they arrived home safely and more importantly, avoided any 'water' surprises! Although "STP" prevailed with the first prize, "Living the dream" had the opportunity to win the £89.50 Jackpot cash prize via 'Play your cards right'. Opportunity being the operative word as they changed their base card and then drew a pair and as dear old Brucie used to say "there's nothing for a pair, not in this game".
