Felix was in top form!

Yes, as always Felix was as good as gold all evening, sleeping through almost all of it. The same can be said of his namesake team, "Cats like Felix", that is the 'good' bit. not the 'sleeping' bit. Unusually however for them on this occasion, they went home with el zippo despite featuring in a tiebreaker for the £50 bar voucher first prize and winning the 'closest to' question to 'Play Your Cards Right" for the £23 Jackpot cash prize. The surprise of the evening was that "Norfolk N Chance" firstly being in the tiebreaker for the first prize and secondly, actually winning it!! They will of course say it was skill - and I for one am not suggesting otherwise! Mention should also go to "Minds-a-Blank" who were only one point off the tiebreaker. Although a bit of a contradiction as nobody ever comes last at our quizzes at the Red Lion, the bottle of house wine prize for coming second last went to "The Liverbirds" as they came fifth with "The Paine's" and "In the thick of It" joint sixth - no, not last. Trusting that's all clear (!?!?), the Jackpot cash prize increases to £39 and rolls over to our next quiz at the Red Lion in a couple of weeks time on Thursday 20th February, when we do it all again and likewise look forward to seeing you all again then.
