The rain didn't stop our quizzers tonight, as it seems Summer is officially over (sob). The heat was on both physically and competitively, as we had scores coming through in the top 40s! Two teams were battling it out for first prize, both returning teams 'The Raviolis' and '£5.10 a Pint?!' In the end, '£5.10 a Pint?!' knew their architecture better, and they were ecstatic that they could get almost ten whole pints with their win. 'Still my Personal Favourite' walked away with our free bottle of wine, and 'Quizlamic Extremists' was up to play for our jackpot. Unfortunately, a pair of threes broke their lucky streak, and they were knocked out two cards from the end. Better luck next time! See you next week for another fabulous night at the Rec!
