The Perseverance hosted 8 teams tonight at our Monday quiz, with many newcomer teams making maiden voyages and keeping veteran teams on their toes! Our creative round 'Write a limerick beginning with the line 'There was an old man called Bill" was won by Dai got engaged for the only entry that dared to include a George Foreman grill reference. Other newcomer teams You're a Quizard Harry won the bottle of wine, and The Good, the Bad and the Brummy got to play for the jackpot, but the Yeasty Beasties were the night's victors, winning by just one point. The jackpot wasn't won tonight and will roll over to next week as a 3 digit number!
