Seems everyone was out doing their Christmas shopping this evening, with only a scant 3 teams vying for the prizes—so yeah, good odds all around. The quiz featured European mythology in the forms of Thor and Orpheus and—as one team put—a rare appearance of a female musician in the picture round. Duly noted. A little more Little Mix is in order, I suppose. In the end, congrats goes to the lovely team whose name we daren't speak, who requested to be known only by their acronym UTSS, who won the £50 bar tab on their first night quizzing with us. They also won a shot at the jackpot to boot, but sadly pushed their luck—into the ground, as it were—faltering on the the fifth card. And so the jackpot goes up once again.
