Another fun night at the Moretown Belle in St. Katherine's Docks, with a textile-ish quiz featuring questions related to grog (named after an old English Admiral who wore grogam cloth) and "shoddy" (originally a coarse, woollen fabric—before it came to mean anything of coarse and inferior quality). In the end it was a resounding win for Captain Cooked, who took in the quiz as part of a birthday celebration (Happy Birthday, Josh!). Meanwhile, Nameless nearly—nearly, nearly—left without their bottle of wine (for coming second to last), returning at the last moment to collect it. Captain Cooked also happened to win a chance at the jackpot, but sadly went bankrupt on the third card. This means the jackpot increases to £218 for next week. Do come and try your luck.
