After a week of Halloween parties and the rugby world cup, I wasn't expecting too many teams to be sufficiently recovered from their costumed and/or sportive festivities—and I was right. It was a rather chill evening at the Moretown, with only three brave teams vying for the £50 bar tab. After a stellar second round, Prawn Hub handily took the win with a rare break of the 40 point barrier (just), thanks to a 2nd place finish in the creative round. I Am Smarticus took home the wine, coming second-to-last (which was also second, incidentally). Then there was the lovely comment from the Jalapeños, who said my use of "apropos" was delightfully apropos. If only I gave points for flattery. Ho hum. The jackpot went un-won again this week. Boo.
