Record-setting attendance tonight at the Moretown Belle in what is surely (surely!) London's best quiz night. Ten teams and forty-seven quizzers packed the house in a quiz that taught us about Ewan McGregor's hatred of selfies; the largest country never to win any Olympic medals; and an earnestly proposed plan to dam up the North Sea. All true. This culminated in a dramatic tie-break between Wussy Patrol and Bitch Finger Double Blast. (It's not whether you win or lose, it's all about the team names.) Both guessed within 140 years of the start of Notre Dame's construction, but Bitch Finger was closer and took the prize. The Uncle Alberts meanwhile won a shot at the jackpot, but sadly faltered on the second card. Bottom line: Big jackpot next week!
