'Retired from quiz (after first half of quiz). Too tipsy to answer. If we come 2nd last, put bev's in the bin'. A shame as they were actually doing quite well. Regretfully no bev's on this occasion but thanks for taking the trouble to write the lovely note.

In what appeared to be a relatively straight forward set of questions, this evening's quiz actually proved quite difficult, more so for some than others! So much so that winners of the last two or three quizzes, "living The Dream" were pipped this evening by a single point by ""Quizzee Rascals" who accordingly took the £40 bar voucher first prize. Our creatively and topically named new teams this evening, "Corona 9 Team" and "FTSE Bears" both featured in the remaining prizes. The former who very flatteringly identified you quizmaster as the person behind the smiley from Love Island - if only! - won the evening's £20 bar tab for coming second last. "FTSE Bears" won the opportunity to select from the Jackpot envelopes for the £41 cash prize and having selected envelope number 8 were congratulated on winning ………….a packet of crisps. The Jackpot therefore increases to £53.50 when we do it all again next Tuesday 17th March. See you then.
