Well, somebody certainly did as "Pork Scratchings!" beat off regular winners "Onwards & Upwards" and "living the Dream" by a clear 3 points to take this evening's £40 bar voucher first prize. We did have a flatulating dog in the house this evening and wondered if that had perhaps stimulated the 'little grey cells' of "Pork Scratchings!". If it did, it had the opposite effect on the "village Idiots" who in coming last made "Tequila Mockingbird" the deserved recipients of the £20 bar voucher second prize. The 'closest to' question about the Guinness World Record for the longest kiss produced some interesting answers. The answer of nearly 5 days from "Desperados" probably reflects what they get up to at the Hotel California and the bowls club! The answer from the young couple appropriately named "Dates, just a few" of just over 27 hours was probably hopeful optimism! "Living the Dream" were however closest and selected envelope number 3 for the £75 cash prize. They were congratulated on being winners, but only of a packet of crisps only on this occasion. The jackpot therefore increases to £91.50 and rolls over to next week's quiz on Tuesday 17th December, the last quiz before Christmas and of the year.
